                                  About Red Bear Flutes

I make Native American Style Flutes, Bags, Totems, Stands, and dabble in jewelry as well. I discovered the Native American Flute in 2006 while traveling with my father through Indian country, we were just outside of the Grand Canyon National park, and we came across a roadside stand where they were selling Native Jewelry and artifacts as well as Flutes. I had to have one, I have always collected and played many instruments. After a few hours, While My father was driving, I figured out the pentatonic scale and started playing songs, that did not annoy my Father. A few miles later at another stand we found another Flute I also bought, and thus began my Journey.
I Perform in the Native American Style,From the Heart as it was meant to be.  I have done Memorials and Weddings, as well as local arts fairs. I have been making Flutes for just over 3 years and Playing the same, I attend at least 5 Flute Circles every month and support all Native American events I can, with donations and performances. I recorded my first CD in May 2008, and my Second CD in April 2009,They can be purchased on this site. If we trace the Family Tree back far enough we have Cherokee and Blackfoot (Lakota) Sioux, Both on my Fathers side. Not enough for me to call my instruments Indian made, but enough for me to feel the Spirit in my Playing, and in the Instruments I create.
